Just got back to the law library after my Spring Break trip to Sunny Cali-for-nia. I was out in San Francisco having a good time, listening to slightly off Cali accents and people saying “hella.” But low-key though, I love California now. I had never been out there, but I really like the place. The weather was really nice, the people were incredibly friendly. There was a lot more diversity than I would’ve expected. The city was extremely beautiful. And it felt a bit removed from reality simply because of the 3-hr time difference from the East Coast. So I would get the 9 o’clock phone calls at 6 pm – and people in the Eastern timezone were going to sleep when I was just chilling. Overall, I had a great time.
So now it’s back to law school… Lol, I realized I really dislike being here and having to study. But at the same time, I understand that this is what I chose and this is what I will live with. I’m going to have to buckle down and prepare for finals. Same ol’ same ol’. I think now I’m going to try to find some of the joy in life in the books of law.
